What is the creepiest thing your young child has ever said to you?

당신의 어린 아이가 했던 말 중에 가장 소름 끼쳤던 말은 어떤 것이었나요?

 

   

1.

I was tucking in my four year old.  He said "Good bye, dad."  I said, 

"No, we say good night."  He said "I know.  But this time it’s good bye."

I had to check on him a few times to make sure he was still there.

4살짜리 아들을 재우려 눕혔는데,

아들 : 잘 있어요, 아빠.

나 : 아냐, 이럴 땐“안녕히 주무세요” 라고 하는 거야

아들 : 알아요.  근데 이번엔 “잘있어요” 에요

아들이 걱정돼서 난 몇 번이나 애가 잘 자고 있는지 확인해봐야 했다.

My 3 year old daughter stood next to her new born brother and looked at him for a while then turned and looked at me saying, 

"Daddy, it's a monster. We should bury it."

3살 짜리 딸이 이제 갓 태어난 남동생을 바라보다 말했다.

“아빠, 이건 괴물이에요.  꼭 땅 속에 묻어 버려야겠어요”

 

3. While changing my daughter in front of the open closet door, she kept looking around me and laughing.  

I asked her what was so funny.  She said, "that man" to which I replied, "what man?"  She then pointed at the closet and said, 

"that man with the snake neck."  

I turned around and nothing was there.  I later found out that there was the history of my house that ex-owner hung himself in the closet.

열려있는 옷장 앞에서 딸에게 옷을 입혀 주고 있었다. 

그런데 얘가 계속 내 주변을 돌아보며 웃는 것이었다. 

나 : 뭐가 재미있니?

딸 : 저 남자요

나 : 어떤 남자?

딸 : (옷장을 가리키며) 뱀같이 긴 목의 남자요

그러나 옷장 안에는 아무도 없었다.

후에 알게 됐지만, 내 집의 전 주인이 그 옷장 안에서 목을 매 자살했다고한다.

 

4.

Not to me, but to his grandmother.  

He was cuddling with her and being very sweet(he was about 3 at the time).  He takes her face in his hands, 

and brings his face close to hers, then tells her that she's very old and will die soon.

Then he makes a point of looking at the clock.

3살 정도 된 아들이 할머니를 껴안고 놀고 있었다. 그런데 양손으로 할머니 얼굴을 잡고는 할머니 얼굴에 자기 얼굴을 바짝 갖다 대곤, 

“할머니는 늙었으니 곡 죽을 거야” 라면서 시계를 바라보는 것 이였다.

 

5.

I was sound asleep, and at around 6am I was woken up by my 4 year old girl's face inches away from mine.  

She looked right into my eyes and whispered, "I want to peel all your skinoff".

The back story here is I had been sunburned the previous week, and it was starting to peel. In my sleep addled state however, 

it was pretty terrifying for a few seconds.  I didn't know if I was dreaming or what was going on.

새벽 6시쯤 잠에서 깨어나 눈을 떠보니 4살짜리 딸의 얼굴이 바로 코앞에 있었다.

딸아이는 제 눈을 보면서속삭였다. “엄마의 피부를 다 벗겨내고 싶어.”

사실 몇 주 전에 햇볕에 타서 피부가 벗겨 지고 있었다. 하지만 그땐 막 일어나 몽롱한 상태여서 순간적으로 정말 무서웠지. 

이게 무슨 상황인가 싶었고, 하물며 꿈을 꾸고 있나 싶을 정도였다.

"Daddy, remember that time we died?"

“아빠, 우리가 죽었던 날, 기억해?”

 

7. 

I don't have kids, but once, visiting some friends on a farm, my buddy's youngest girl (5 or 6) at the time was afraid of the chickens.  

I tried to explain to her that the chicken weren't there to hurt us, but she wasn't having it.  So I am sitting around the fire pit, looking at 

one of the chickens a few feet in front of me when I felt hot breath in my ear as she whispers ; "See, he's always watching."

한 번은 친구네 농장을 방문 한 적이 있었는데, 그 당시 친구의 막내딸이 5~6살 정도 됐었다.

얘가 닭을 너무 무서워 하길래, 닭은 우릴 해치지 않는다고 설명해줘도 귀담아 듣질 않더구만.

그래서 모닥불 앞에 앉아, 주변에잇는 닭들 중 한마리를 쳐다보고 있었는데, 순간 적으로 여자애의 숨결이 내 귀에 느껴졌다.  

그리곤 속삭였다.

“보세요. (저 닭은) 항상 우리를 지켜보고 있잖아요”

"So I shouldn't throw him in the fire?" 

said a 3 year old daughter holding her baby brother for the first time.

“그니까… 불 속에 던지면 안되는 거에요?” 

3살짜리 딸이 자기의 어린 동생을 처음으로 안아보더니 꺼낸 말이다.

 

9.

5 year old : Mommy, when you die, I want to out you in a glass jar do I can keep you and see you forever.

To which a 6 year old responds, "that's stupid.  Where are you gonna find a jar that big?"

5살 : 엄마, 만약 엄마가 죽으면 영원히 엄마를 간직할 수 있도록 유리병 속에 넣어 둘거야.

6살 : 바보같긴. 그렇게 큰 유리병을 어떻게 구할 거야?

 

10.

When my 2.5 year old and her friend were hanging out, the topic of T-Rex and other dinos came up.  

I asked her friend:

"If you were a T-Rex, what would you do for a fun?"

He answered, "I'd chase herbivores!"

I then asked my daughter this question: If you were a T-Rex, what would you eat?

She got very serious and looked me right in the eyes and said;

"Children.  I'd eat children"

2.5살 짜리 딸이랑 딸 친구와 놀아주고 있었다. 그러다 티라노사우루스 얘기가 나오게 됐다.

나 : 만약 네가 티라노사우루스였다면 뭐하고 놀거야?

딸 친구 : 초식동물들을 먹고 다닐 거에요!

딸에게 이런 질문을 던져봤다.

나 : 네가 티라노사우루스였다면 뭐 먹고 지냈을거야?

그러자 딸이 매우 진지한 표정으로 내 눈을 바라보며,

딸 : 아이들. 아이들을 먹을 거야

라고대답했다.

 

11.

My 3 year old nephew was at my cottage.  

He's asked me numerous times about the "girl over there" while pointing at one of the back bedrooms.  

The place is small, and there is definitely nobody there so I just dismiss it as a really active imagination (he has lots of imaginary friends).

Then some friends are visiting and they have a daughter around the same age.  

She has never met my nephew.  Twice in the one day she asked about the "pretty girl" while pointing at the exact same room.  

Definitely caught me out and I didn't know what to think.

Then at Christmas my family was over at my place and my nephew points of my wife and asks if she is coming to visit us here or 

does she just stay at the cottage. My wife died ten years ago. Personally I don't really believe in paranormal stuff so 

it's probably just my logical brain putting together a bunch of kids ramblings but it definitely got my attention.

3살 짜리 조카를 내 조그만 별장에 데려간 적이 있었다.

근데 녀석이 뒤쪽에 있는 침실을 가리키며 저쪽에 있는 여자애에 대해 자꾸 물어보는 것이었다.

좁은 장소라 바로 확인해볼 수 있었는데, 거기엔 확실히 아무도 없었다.

그래서 그냥 상상력을 발휘하나 보다 싶었다. (조카에게는 상상의친구들이 많이 있었기 때문이다)

그리고 내 친구들이 놀러 왔다.

친구들에게는 내 조카뻘 정도 되는딸이 있었는데. 조카를 한번도 만나본 적이 없던 이 여자애가 똑같은 방을 가리키며 

“예쁜 여자애”에 대해 물어보는 것이었다. 나는 깜짝놀라서 아무런 생각도 할 수가 없었다.

그리고 크리스마스 날, 내 집에 가족들이 모였을 때 조카가 사진 속의내 부인을 가리키더니, 그녀도 같이 이 집으로 올 건지 아니면 

계속 작은 별장 안에 있을 건지 물어보는것이었다.

내 부인은 10년 전에 죽었다.

나는 원래 초자연적인 걸 믿진 않지만, 이 건 정말 기억에 남는 일이었다.

 

12.

When my son was little, maybe 3, he used to do this weird crawl where he would slide his forehead along the floor.  

That was pretty creepy in itself.  Then one night he crawled across the hallway into my room like that and stood up a few inches 

from my face and made a weird meow sound.  He got into bed with me and went to sleep.  Another time he was freaking out about a monster 

in the basement so we went down and saw nothing,of course, and as I turned out the light and headed upstairs and he said, 

"He's right behind us now."  I mighthave peed a little.  Possibly the creepiest thing he did was one day I scolded him for misbehaving so 

he hid his head under his blanket.  I pretended I could not find him by saying "Where is my little Carson?"  

He slowly lowered the blanket and with a dead evil stare said, 

"Carson is gone, I am Rick."

내 아들 녀석이 3살 정도 됐을 때 기이한 방식으로 기어 다니곤 했다.

이마를 바닥에 대고 슥슥 끌고 다녔는데, 어느 날 밤에는 복도에서 내 방까지 그렇게 기어와서는 

내 앞에서 벌떡 일어나 야옹 하고 요상한 소리를 내곤 했다.

그리고 한번은 지하에 괴물이 있다고 난리를 떨길래 같이 지하에 내려간 적이 있었다.

당연히 거기엔 아무도 없었고, 난 불을 끄고 계단을 올라가려는데 갑자기 녀석이 “지금 우리 바로 뒤에 있어” 하는것이었다. 

그 말을 듣고 오줌을 지릴 뻔 했다.

그 중에서도 가장 소름 끼쳤던 것은 어느 날, 아들을 혼낸 적이 있는데 갑자기 녀석이 이불 속으로 얼굴을 숨기는 것이었다.

난 “우리 카슨 어디 있나” 라고 말하며 아들을 찾는 시늉을 했다.

갑자기 아들이 슬그머니 이불을 내리더니 음침한 얼굴로 날 바라보며 “카슨은죽었어. 난 릭이야” 하는 것이었다.

 

13.

My noticeably pregnant sister and I were having a conversation at the dining room table. 

My 4 year old son was also present and asked my sister if there was a baby in her belly.  She affirmed.  

He, completely straight faced, slid from his chair and headed for the kitchen saying

"We need to get it out.  I'll go get the knife."

임신한 여동생과 식탁에 앉아 얘기를 나누고 있었다.

4살짜리 내 아들도 같이 있었는데, 동생에게 아기가 뱃속에 잇냐고 물어보는 것이었다.

동생이그렇다고 하자, 무표정한 얼굴로 의자에서 슥 내려와서는 부엌으로 가면서 이렇게 말하는 것이었다.

“거기서 아기를 꺼내야 해요. 제가 가서 칼을 가져올게요”

 

14.

We were having roast chicken for dinner.  3 year old son has light bulb moment.  Holds up chicken skin saying 

"When we say ‘chicken skin’, is this really the skin of the chicken?  Like my skin?"  

Next day after some Sunday nap page we play cars. I see a fresh scar on his foot. 

Straight line with a little dry blood. Ask the little sir about it: 

"I cut myself.  I took a knife because I wanted to see what my meat looks like under my skin but it hurt a little so I stopped.  

I still don't know."  

Good thing he didn't want to see his sister's flesh!

다같이 구운 닭고기를 먹고 있었는데, 3살짜리 아들이 닭껍질을 들어올리며 

“닭의 살은 닭의 피부를 말하는거죠? 제 피부처럼요?” 하는 것이었다.

다음날 간식을 먹은 뒤 아들과 자동차 놀이를 하는데, 아들의 발에 생긴지 얼마 안된 상처 하나를 발견했다. 

반듯하게 쭉 베인 상처였는데 피가말라 붙어 있었다.

어떻게 해서 생긴 상처인지 물으니, “내가 칼로 벤 거에요. 내 피부 밑에 있는 고기는 어떻게 생겼는지 궁금해서요. 

근데 아파서 관뒀어요. 아직도 모르겠어요.”

여동생의 살 속을 궁금해하지 않았던 게 천만 다행이다.
